Golden Rooster is a family-owned diner, and we treat every guest like a neighbor. That includes taking food allergies and dietary needs seriously. While we cannot publish a guaranteed allergen chart, because recipes and suppliers can change, we can always talk you through your options for the day you visit.

About our shared kitchen
Like most diners, we prepare a wide range of dishes in a shared kitchen. That means cross-contact with common allergens such as eggs, dairy, wheat, shellfish, fish, soy, and nuts is possible, even when a dish does not list them. If you have a severe allergy, please speak with us directly so we can give you honest guidance.
Working with your needs
We can often adjust a plate to suit common dietary needs, and our long-time cooks know the menu inside and out. Whether you are avoiding gluten, dairy, or something else, ask. The answer is frequently yes, and where it is not, we will tell you plainly and suggest something you will enjoy instead.
